Chapultapec
Chapultepec is the area where Montezuma had an aqueduct engineered that brought fresh spring water to Tenochtitlan in the 1400s. Now it hosts one of the largest city parks anywhere and is twice the size of Central Park in New York City. It hosts a castle on a hill, the most amazing mesoamerican anthropology museums, several art galleries, a zoo, a technology museum and a ton more. We'd planned on going to the castle but ended up going too far looking for food and didn't get back in time. Our trip to Chapultepec ended up being a long walk through the street vendors and lunch in from of the Anthropology Museum.
